Elf Audit Reveals Unthinkable!

Stage Star, Katie, Slated for Lump of Coal

THE NORTH POLE, CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH:  Results of the annual 'Naughty or Nice' audit at Santa's Lair in the North Pole, revealed that Katie has been scheduled to receive a lump of coal this year for Christmas.

In what Elf's at Santa's accounting office referred to as an issue that they are "looking into", Katie, star of memorable stage productions such as the recent run of 'Peter Pan' and last year's 'Oliver', is slated to receive a 12 oz lump of coal.

After receiving news of Katie's Christmas fate early Friday morning, Katie's Mother and Father released the following comment to the media: "While we have great faith in Santa's accounting system, we are greatly saddened to have to disagree with Mr. Claus.  We are working with our contacts at the North Pole to get this matter resolved as soon as possible."

 Apparently, members from both camps are working diligently to resolve the matter. In an exclusive to the wilkinweb, a photo of Katie and Santa has been obtained from an Elf who works inside  Mr. Claus' inner circle.

"It's obvious from the photo that Santa is very disappointed in Katie," Santa-ologist Uncle Monkey stated.  "but look at Katie.  She is holding up her own.  Look at how she's looking at him!  It almost like she' challenging him to prove that she was naughty."

Meetings between the two sides will continue until well into the early morning hours.
